Like many unit dwellers fervent to make a burst to homeownership, Amanda Holt was assured that a renovated, turn-of-the-century Edwardian on a border of Noe Valley was a right home to settle in, for reasons other than a pleasing and abounding healthy light or pleasing timber floors. “I now favourite a vibe, though angels started singing when we saw a washer-dryer,” says Holt, a calm developer during a tech-marketing firm, whose 9 months of residence sport enclosed a repeated anguish of being “egregiously outbid” on all of her offers. Laundry merits notwithstanding, this one stuck.
